Mrs. Olukoya is elated to be a part of the Redan Elementary family. Mrs. Olukoya joined the Redan Elementary School family during the 2017-2018 school year as an Assistant Principal because she is committed to student achievement. She led initiatives such as RTI implementation, differentiation, guided reading, Number Talks, and is committed to building teacher capacity. Throughout her tenure in education, she has served as an elementary teacher, academic coach, testing administrator, and assistant principal. Her passion lies in serving students of Title I schools. She firmly believes that students of the greatest risk deserve committed teachers - which is why all of her professional career has been dedicated to serving Title I students.
Mrs. Olukoya is dedicated to lifelong learning. She has a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy, a Specialist's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and recently earned the distinction of doctoral candidate. When Mrs. Olukoya is not working on her dissertation or working with her students and staff, she spends her time travelling with her husband and two daughters. Her other hobbies include reading, home improvement, and public speaking.
She is excited as Redan Elementary R.O.A.R.s toward success.
